I am a big fan of liquid softner. I use downy i think it's the best and it smells soooo nice. Sometimes I do use the tide that comes with Downy already in it but it's not as good as using both the detergent and the softner.

I like to use liquid softener, but fabric sheets are so much cheaper nowadays, and you can use a fabric sheet in you dresser drawers to keep the clothes fresh. so its a tie. haha

I don't care that much on which should I use but I will go with fabric softener, or liquid softener, like Downy... because it makes your clothes smells good and soft, I like that, it's comfortable in the body.

I use liquid Downy also. I use the Vanilla Lavender, it smells sooooooo good. Just put it in the washer and forget it.

I use both. I found that the liquid didn't cut down on static for me, but the dryer sheets did. However, I like the feel of clothes rinsed in liquid, so I just use both.

Did you know that liquid fabric softner helps to dissolve the soap from the detergent and that is what helps makes the clothes soft?

I love liquid fabric softener in the wash. I do use the fabric softener sheets to line the dresser drawers with, linen closet under the towels, and in closets (take one and use a clothes pin and pin it to a hanger).

I used to use fabric softener sheets but, almost regularly, my husband would forget to throw one in the dryer. I finally got tired of my rough tshirts and decided to try the liquid. At least then he wouldn't have to remember anything. As it turns out, I love the liquid softener much better. There's more fragrance but not too much. We have soft water in our area so I don't use very much. I also have found that Snuggle brand softeners don't break out my skin. (I am very sensitive to fragrance in soap and laundry products)

I think softener is better, but I'm either just plain lazy or not around when it's time to add the softener, so I just use dryer sheets.

Those Downy balls are great to just throw in there and it puts in the softner at the end of the rinse cycle so it keeps the scent more.

The best fabric sheets is bounce fresh linen. It makes your clothes smell fresh and clean.

Me too, I prefer Downy liquid. I have tried other liquid softners and I have to go to Downy, and it has to be the blue kind-I tried the purple and didn't care for that very much.
