okay here's the latest news going on near my city! this elderly man who suffers from parkinsons disease, gotten into a spiff, with a neighbor, later that day went and burnt his house down, now the courts found him not guilty by reason of insanity for arson due to the parkinsons! now he's in a mental institution and the hospital is threatening the family to pay 335,000 dollars or they will take their houses! now here is what i'm on the fence about should the taxpayers have to pay that fee just like we do for people who get locked up or should the family be responsible since this man should have been getting health care and this whole thing could have been avoided! on the radio the d.j. is saying just like normal prisoners we should pay, in san francisco the senator diane feinstein raised money to keep giants there. do u think politicians have their priorities a little screwed, that i'm not on the fence about, the taxpayers should not be paying to keep sports teams in certain cities!

WHOA that is a CRAZY town you got there. I have no idea what should be done. If you have enough citizens in your town you could probably get the house paid for no problem. I guess you'd have to assess what the family was like. If they were complete jerks I'd say yeah stick them with the bill. But if they seem like nice people, then probably only a little money from each person could help pay for the damages.
