Somewhere in Time - One of my favorite movies!

Love romantic movies. I highly recommend you see Somewhere in Time. It stars Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. It is a beautifully romantic tale of a man who travels back in time to meet a woman who he met in present day as an elderly woman. It may sound strange at first, but once you see the movie you will understand it more.

i watched it few weeks ago and i must say i have half good half bad feeling about it. I liked the story plot as much as actors plays but i naver kinda liked romantic movies which for me are based on the same scheme. But i must say this movie is not like all others and is surely worth watching!

OMG!! I so love this movie!!! I can't wait until my girls are old enought to watch it with me. My husband won't come near it. I cry everytime I see it. It's so beautiful!
I can't remember where it was filmed, some where up North USA, but my older brother went there a few years ago, and took all kinds of pictures for me. I have to go find them.
Any way, great film!

Loved that movie!! The fact that he somehow had enough love to go back in time to be with a lady. If all our men loved us so!! Christopher Reeve was great to be in that movie and Jane Seymour does period pieces so well. The costuming was wonderful too. I might have to get that on Netflix or buy it on Ebay soon! lol

I agree that's a great movie. I have the DVD and have seen it a couple times. I actually went to where they filmed it on Mackinac Island in Michigan. I really love the score. You should definitely look into getting the soundtrack if you don't have it already.

Holy cow! We must be kindred spirits. That is my favorite movie of all time and I want to try and find it to buy! It may sound funny, but my next favorite is, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; the original one.
Sorry, I like Johnny Depp but I couldn't stand the new version. LOL

Yes, I saw that movie and I have to agree with you. It was very poignant. However, I have to say that Reeves was not one of my favorite actors. Jane Seymour on the other hand is fantastic. Just loved her as Dr. Quinn in the TV series.
Getting back to the movie. It was well done and the passing back and forth through time made it much more interesting. They, unfortunately for me, don't make enough of this type of movie any more. It doesn't sell to well with this generation.

I refuse to watch any movie after it has started. My husband does this frequently. He will channel surf and come on a movie and start watching it. I get up and leave. He gets the point and moves to another channel.

Yes I agree ElusiveButterly with you I have seen this movie it is wonderful loving tale, I loved Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour so before I watch a movie I normally look who is in the cast, that way I know which movie I really want to watch especially when sometimes they put on 2 movies at the same time.

Oh, this sounds like such a beautiful movie! I love romantic stories, and the idea of time travel! ^_^ I shall have to check out the site that you posted for us. I hope to see the movie one day. It sounds like one that I would greatly enjoy! ^_^

This is a wonderful movie! Does anyone know if it was based on a novel? I would like to find out if there are more stories by the author.
It is a fascinating concept, isn't it. What if you WERE born just a little bit out of sync(timewise) with the one true love of your life?????

That is my very favorite romantic movie of all times. It is quite old now and even my daughter who was a teenager then still says it's her favorite. Must see if I can get a CD of it. Thanks for reminding me.

Yes, this one of the best movies even i have seen, Christopher reeves is a great actor, full credit goes to him
