isnt it wierd that the movie is named redemption from a wrong that this guy never committed

I was going to say the same thing as the previous person. The other men received their own redemption through what Andy brought to them.

i agree with both of u but except fr tim robbins n morgan freeman others just get punished for the crimes they do

Maybe the redemption isn't Andy's. Maybe the redemption is the other men in the prison (especially Red) who get hope from Andy being there.
