Anyone else notice the loud whistling commercials lately?

Is it just me, or are there 3 or 4 commercials out there right now that are not only 3 times louder than the TV show you're watching, but also A high pitched whistle through out? I'm 33 with great hearing,so the TV is pretty quiet; but when a certain few commercials come on, my ears nearly burst! Is that supposed to make me want their product? Please include your opinion on this;maybe shed some light on this subject?? Lela
