Is it advisable to get one's eye replaced donated by a person who died of cancer

I don't think it would make a difference as long as the cancer was not in the eye area or that there were no metastases in that area either. Cancer is not contagious and the transplant of that eye should not bring that disease to the recipient. Of course I am not a doctor so I might be wrong ,but this is what I think.
