Do not purchase an online data entry business!

I feel like a fool for even falling for this but, I recently purchased an online data entry business from dataentrybusiness dot com. Don't do it! They advertise that within 4 mins you can be making money. They claim that they will give you links to businesses that accept online workers for data entry positions. Upon purchasing the package you recieve links to Google adsense, Yahoo Overture, and Click bank. The only part about the whole thing that could even partially be considered worth any amount of money (but not quite $49.95) is the fact that they do give you step by step instructions and illustrations for using those companies. In my determination to make my $49.95 worth something I went ahead and followed the plan to a T. However what they fail to mention in the advertising is that once you pay your $49.95 for this common sense information on how to make $250 in 4 mins, you also have to pay for your advertising. They even have a little disclaimer on there that in order to make the $250 an hour you will have to bid at least $0.85 on your clicks. If you have a lot of money to spend on advertising or starting a home based business and are interested in this kind of work, don't purchase the program. Logging into click bank and creating an account is free. Just keep in mind that in order to be successful you will either have to find an untapped niche market or spend and average of $0.90+ cents per click. I went ahead and did $0.35 per click on a dog training product just to see if it worked and after 3 days I haven't even had one ad impression much less a click or purchase. So if any of you were about to buy into it just to know what it was (which is what got me, dang curiosity) there is your description so now don't do it.

Thank you so much for your warning! I worry that there are others out there who might fall for such scams. A good rule of thumb on the internet is to never, _ever_ become involved with a company who asks you to invest money before you get paid from them. This is very often a sure sign of a scam. I thankfully am frugal enough that the idea of investing money into something that I can't be sure will pay me has kept me from doing anything too silly online so far *laugh* I have been scammed by a few online companies, but all that i lost was virtual money that i had earned. Never any of my cold hard cash. I refuse to invest *laugh*
