Bullitt - best car chase sequence

They say this was one of the greatest car chase sequences of all time. I only know of a few realistic car chases in movies & i think BULLITT is the best.

Yes, like most Steve McQueen movies this is a goodie. I also liked him in Le Man & The Hunter, The Getaway & The Cincinatti kid.

I really liked this movie, not just for the car chase. But i do like the cars in it & how they are driven is spectacular.

I may be young but I've seen many a car chase, and this is by far the absolute best. It combines the realistic feel of the 60's film without having special effects, with the unbelievable tension and rising action created by the entire scene. From the slow, unnerving driving in the beginning, to the city street jumps, to the high-speed highway and explosive ending. There can be no better.
