eBay rocks...for both buying and selling

I've been an eBay buyer for years now and have gotten some really great things that way - obscure books, collectibles, etc. After I moved recenty into a smaller home, I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff I had. I decided to dump some of it on eBay. To my surprise, old CDs, books, knick-knacks, etc. can really yield a lot of cash!! I had a CD that I never listened to from about 12 years ago...I posted it at $1.99 and ended up getting $13.00 because it turned out to be some rare import. I had amassed a huge number of old car ads and they tend to bring in around $5.00 plus a pop. Has anyone else sold anything for an amount that has truly astonished them?

Yes I have sold stuff on Ebay myself. I had a very old Erickson phone and started the bid off at .99, by the time the bid was over it went for 18.50. I was very surpised.
