Good Bye to a Good Show

We recently found out that the Fox teen drama The O.C. has been cancelled. For three season prior to this final one, the O.C. has entertained fans with their drama/comedy. The wonderfull one liners, and the invention of Chrismuhka (spelling?). I for one will miss The O.C., and I wish the cast the best in seeking further endevours.

I was already thinking that this season was better than last. Sure Marissa is gone, but I honestly think that Taylor is a suitable replacement. She fits the comedy aspect of the show and is definately an awesome contrast to Ryan's character.

Lol! Actually she totally irritated me too. I couldn't stand her always having to be bailed out. I think if I was Ryan, I probably would have written her off a long time ago. It it might be because I'm an independant person, but still. Maybe because she is gone, is why this season seems to be better than last.

It started when I was in grade 11.. It is such a good show! I wish they had just finished season 4 and quit instead of cutting it short by 5 episodes.

I knew that this was the last season but I had no idea that there were only two more episodes!! That makes me sad I didn't expect it to end so soon, I thought it would end in May. Last season kind of sucked, but I was getting back into it this season, I thought the story lines were a lot better this year .I liked the Taylor Ryan story, he needed a light hearted relationship. Che was funny. It makes me really sad that it's done in two weeks! I hope Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson end up on other shows I love them both.

It sucks that the show was cancelled. I really enjoyed watching it. It kind of made me feel like a teenager again and it brought back memories of when I was in high school when I used to watch Beverly Hills 90210 all the time. I have seasons 1 & 2 of The O.C. on DVD so far. I actually just started on season 1. It has been so long since I've seen season 1 that I picked up on a few things that I missed when it first came on. So, I guess watching the series over will be a good thing. :)

I'll admit it, I'm a little girl and I cried when I found out they were cancelling it. ;o; I'm not very fond of this season though, so I guess I kind of expected it. I need to get the second and third season still so I can watch it whenever I want. -sigh-

I was devastated when I heard they were cancelling the show. I've always enjoyed it, but this season has some of the best story lines I've seen so far in the show. Now, I know alot of people may not agree with me, but it seems like they have been hitting on more realistic issues. I couldn't stand Marissa, so I was glad she was gone, even though I was sad with the way she left. If only because of how it affected Ryan, since I adore his character. I do hope they eventually do a movie, it would be nice to check in with them every once in awhile. But they shouldn't do it for awhile. Let some time pass, so we can get a more in-depth, well rounded update. For being a drama, the show has pulled off some very entertaining and amusing situations. And Chrismakha rules!!! I grew up in a house with a Jewish mother, and a Baptist father. So, I know how confusing it can be. I love telling people about the year the Menorrah almost caught the Christmas tree on fire. (I swear, I'm not kidding!) So, it will be a sad day when the show ends, but I'm glad it was here at least for awhile, and hopefully this will be a stepping stone for these young actors to step up from. They are all amazing!
