Release date for iPhone?

I've heard lots about the new iPhone,
but does anyone know the release date?
I've heard it's running for $599, but is there a cheaper modle or a more expensive version?

The iPhone has the 4GB model which is $499 and the 8GB model is $599. It will be released in the USA on June 2007 and on Asia and Europe on the 4th quarter of 2008.
