Favourite Firefly Character

Jayne, the man they call Jayne! (sorry, couldn't resist)

Such a tough question. I love all the characters so much for what they bring to the show. I guess I would have to say Mal. I have to say I love Captian Tight Pants.

Kaylee and Wash. They were always so happy. Even when they were concerned they were happy. And Zoe. Warrior women rock!

I would have to say River. She had some classic lines. Like, "I can kill you with my mind." It was the fact that she would say something like that but then giggle right after that like it was no big deal.

I'm also a Jayne Fan. He seems tough and scary at first, but I think he's got a squishy inside. We already know he loves his mom....Just look how much he loves that hat :-)

I choose Mal. Ithink it's because I really enjoy his sense of humor and character development. It also doesn't hurt that he's so easy on the eyes. *wink

Kaylee! She is my favorite just cause. I love Captain Tightpants too! He's majorly hubba hubba. :D I love this show soo very much I dont think I have a character I just hate..well the reavers aren't so nice I guess. lol

I... I don't know. The Captain is fun, but the red-headed guy (Wash, I think?) is pretty cool too (or WAS pretty cool). I think the banter between all of them is what makes it good.

Well, it's hard to pick just one favorite character. They all had great qualities about 'em. If I had to pick my top favorites I would have to go for Mal and River. I just couldn't pick between those two for a number one favorite. I liked them both for their individual pain, and they were both mysertious in their own way. River was great, and she really kicked some butt at the end of Serenity. I just loved that. Mal with his humor kept me laughing through every single episode. I guess I see myself a little in both of those characters so that's why they're my favorites as well. Although Inara wasn't my favorite character I really liked her as well. I wish her story would have been developed a lot more then it was!

The thing about Firefly is that it's an ensemble cast, and they're all amazing actors. I have to say that Mal, Wash, and Kaylee are my favorites, but it's like choosing between my children! XD

oh, Wash, definitely. I think some of it has to do with the fact that I saw Alan Tudyk in Spamalot before I started watching Firefly, and developed a complete crush on him then, but when I started watching the show, he just brings that element of comedy to it. I love him, and his relationship with Zoe.

I don't know that I can pick just one favorite Firefly character! They all have their moments! I suspect, though, that I would have to say Kaylee is my favorite. She's just always so happy! :)

My favorite character is the Captain, with Kaylee being the 2nd runner up.

Its between Wash (may his spirit fly forever in the black) and Jayne. Wash is that sarcastic comic relief guy, Jayne is that guy who just doesnt get "it"

i would say the captain is my favourite. he's different than any of the other hero characters you see. an anti-hero hero. if you know what i mean. he's basically a good guy but doesnt have second thoughts if he has to get his hands dirty.

Ooh! That is a tough one. As you stated, the characters are all so loveable. I would have to say my ultimate favorite is Kay Lee. She is so innocent at times and takes pleasure in the little things. Then she has this touch of genius with ships and their engines. Plus, I love hat she is not an anorexic type. She looks like she enjoys a couple of slies of pizza now and then.
