Well, maybe your ignorant chicken nugget neighbors would be happy in my neighborhood. I like it here, but the neighbors are weird and unfriendly...in a way I'm kind of glad my neighbors ignore us, they do seem to be the judgemental types.

Well, when we moved here, all the neighbors were friendly and coming out to shake hands, children hugging me, etc. Then all of a sudden it's like we have the plague. Fine with me, I don't have time for neighborly chitchat anyway, not with a full load of classes and tons of work to do.

Yes mine are very socialable. I grew up in this neighborhood. then I moved away for 20 years. I came back to take care of my Mother and some of the people who lived here when I was kid are still here, but mostly new faces are in the area. All the people on my street are elderly and so I try to help with their yards and stuff. I am the youngest on the street and everyone is so sweet and kind. I lOVE living here now, very quiet and respectable socialable neighborhood here.

My neighbors keep to themselves. I would like to get to know them all better but just has not happend. I would like to live in a place like my parents. There neighbors all know eachother and help one another out when needed.

Yes it seems older generations are into the spirit of being sociable, maybe it is the past generations during the world war 2 slowly being phased out.

Mine aren't sociable either. Except for one who is sociable but we wish he wasn't. He likes to come over in our yard when we are outside to be nosy. Usually he's quite drunk too lol.

Chicken nuggets? You must mean busines! LOL. I tried to be sociable with my neighbors and invite them to my daughter's first birthday party two weeks after we moved in, because we didn't have a lot of friends where we just moved, and were away from family. One side came and was very nice, but then they moved away and left us with obnoxious white trash (who have also now moved away). The other side came, said hi and they weren't feeling well, and left, and we have barely talked to them since. I don't know why.

I love that phrase white trash you never hear someone saying black trash, I know what you mean neighbours are odd sometimes you bend over backwards(eh?)to be friendly to them and they go all funny faced odd munchkin eyed on you, it's really bad.

my neighbors on one side of me are very mean to my boyfriend and just stare at me whenever i am outside, and the neighbor on the other side says hi ever once in awhile. I live in a trailer park and i just go about my business, i don't really talk to anyone in the neighborhood.
