What if animals could talk?

I'd reckon nothing would change and we would still kill animals for food, sums up our world completely, although there would be a select few that would look after the animals more if they talked.

Animals do talk. Just not in a way most us poor humans can understand.
^_^
Body language and some noises they make. Scientists have discovered that cats use over a hundred vocal sounds..and some cats even learn to mimic our own words to better communicate with us. Usually more simple words like 'out' or 'ham'..since I don't think their voices are made for our many syllables.
If though, someday they'd learn to speak our own language I'd still eat animal meat, but I'd apologize to them while hunting them..just as I do these days. I'd treat them the same as I do now..like furry people lol. I don't know how other people'd react..it'd be really interesting to see though.

From what I understand animals did talk way long ago however when humanity was stupid they were divided from us and then, I wonder why, we were charged with their care. There would be long drawn out probably heated debates about intelligence of the talking animals and if they should be given some rights. It would be a mess. I wished we could talk freely with the animals. It is difficult to really understand their communications. They sure seem to pick up alot of our language in understanding though.

I think the animals do communicate in some way or the other which we humans won't understand. Their is something god has given for everyone to communicate & take care of themselves when something is gonna go wronmg wit us or de animals.
