If you could go out for ice cream, any chain, where would you go, and why? I'd definitely choose Coldstone! I LOVE being able to create my own flavor!!!

Well I haven't been to a Coldstone yet. There isn't one near me. The closest one I know of is like 65 miles away. But that's where I would want to go. I have heard how good their ice cream is. I love the whole concept of what they do. I've seen them on tv. I better decide on my flavor though before going or I'll be there all day deciding ...lol Soon I hope.

we don't have a coldstone where I'm from, either. So everywhere that has one and we happen to be there, we go. lol.

We don't have all that many options here. We have Wendys here (not the burger place, Wendy's here is icecream and hotdogs) which is really nice and a few others but nothing outstanding or different. There is a place that sells frozen custard though and you get to choose what type of custard (choc or vanilla)and what you want to go in it... So thats usually my choice :)

I like Leatherby's - it is the best ice cream in the world - but it is not a chain - there are only two store. So, chain I would have to choose Baskin Robins if I want a sunday and McDonald's if I just want a soft serve cone. I am not really a fan of coldstone - I don't like mixing my food - it is good, but I just have to be in the mood for it.

There are so many. Going back to my childhood there was Carvelle... known for their icecream cakes. Then their was Dairy Queen. Baskin Robins and their 31 flavors was always a good choice. Friendly always has the greatest of sundaes. For me personally, I like to get a pint of Ben & Jerrys (Cherry Garcia!!!) and spend time with a couch a spoon and a movie!

This is soooo cool to talk about ice cream! I used to eat at Cold Stone Creamery before I found out about Sheridan Custard. I still like Cold Stone Creamery, but I haven't been there in so long, I may go there today. You know it's funny how people say they don't eat ice cream in the winter, but I do. I eat ice cream any time of year and any time of the day. I like it so much. But when those places are closed, I eat Haggen Daz ice cream. I eat vanilla. I am open to trying any of the other flavors as well. I have tried caramel, fudge, chocolate, some cherry flavor, (can't remember what it is right now), butter pecan, black walnut to name a few. Also I like the brand Stoneyfield. They have the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I think it is better than Haggen Daz. It is so smooth and tasty. Yummmm Yumm!!

I would choose Culvers. They serve frozen custard ice cream. It is sooooo good. They have vanilla and chocolate. They serve it in a cup or a waffle cone. But they usually have a flavor of the day. They will put in chocolate pieces, reeses cups, m&ms, and all kinds of fun things like. It's just the best.

If I could go to any chain, it'd have to be Coldstone. It was the first real ice cream place I ever went to, so I have fond memories. Plus, their ice cream just plain tastes good. It's just a fact.
