Scorpion stings man on plane...... Strange thing to happen in an unusual place?

What are the odds of this?? A man boarded a plane in Miami to fly to Toronto, Canada but they had to delay the flight because the man was stung by a scorpion on board. Of all the places to be stung by a scorpion?? Has anyone on MyLot also had things happen to them in the strangest places? I was once attacked by a goat at a dog pound! That was pretty strange!!

That is an unusual place for that to happen, the fear of flying is bad enough without things like that happening, can scorpions kill you or do they just give a nasty sting....:(

I am not 100% sure but I believe that some scorpions are venomous yes. As for killing a grown person? I think that severe pain would be the worst of it. Maybe someone else here knows the answer to this? Thanks for responding.
