does anyone have a problem swolling pills? My 14 year old son just can't swollow them. He will gag and almost throw up. When I evn mention him having to swollow a pill he get's upset and would rather be sick than to do it.

I had this problem till about 22 years old! I just couldn't swallow pills. So for tablets, I would either dissolve them in hot water or crush them. And for pills, I would open the capsule caps & dissolve the powdered content in water & drink it instead.

I used to. I was more scared of choking than of the actual pill though. When you can do is put it in his drink and it would disinigrate a little bit or even manage to break it down into little pieces.

I had a friend who had the same problen but strangely enough with the very tiny ones not the big ones, it was awful to watch, I suggested to him to crush it up in a spoonful of jam like they do in some Nursing Homes but he wouldn't, it was painful just to watch....LOL

Maybe break the pills up? Or does he have a problem with them no matter the size? This might sounds strange but could you hide them in his food somehow? So he takes the pill without realising it?
