is a military regime better than a civilian regime???

hey what do u think i think for a developing nation a military government is better than a civilian one becoz when it come to efficiency milttary ppl are better as once the y get a job they stay to the end and finish it.. i could be wrong but the military people seem to be less corrupt than civil staff..but for a developed nationa civil governemnt is better becoz the have the courage to try new avenues which the disciplined mind of the army man cant do as in the tend to follow the leader and play safe and stick to immidiate goals than to invest in the future in technology and human resources... so where are u guys from and what gvernment wud u prefer: harsha

I am from Australia and we have a democratically elected Government by all citizens of this country. I know that some countries do have a military Government and I have some concerns with that, simply because in some cases it seems some become so entrenched that they are very reluctant to let the citizens of their country have a free vote on who they want to run the country.
