what's the number that's showing beside ur profile name... in my profile besides my name i see (45), but i have no idea of what it is... the number doesn't denote anything i can relate to... I have less than 10 friends in the list... can anybody help.... if this info helps u please don't forget to rate the topic.......

The number is the amount of posts you've made. Each post you make in a discussion raises the number by one. This has a lot to do with the amount you are paid, although ... you can have a very high number and, if your replies are one liners with no substance, the amount will still be miniscule.
Example ... you have 45, so you've replied to 45 discussions.

It is actually the total of the "number of replies" and the "number of discussions u have started, each with atleast one response from any other member". That means u don't earn a point for discussion started by u if any one don't want to reply for that.Even the replies r more than the points remain the same, but ur ratings increase if it is rated positively or neutral on a whole.I think, now, u got a fair understanding of what that number denotes...
