Baseball - Should the DH rule be taken out of the game.?

do you think the American League should drop the DH rule.?
should the National League adopt it.?.
the DH (designated hitter) is a player who only bats in place of the pitcher in American League games...the batter does not play a position on the field...
is this fair.?.
