as far as i know the egg came first - and the hen will hatch till the chichs arive aand eventually chicken

I'd saayyy the chicken because how would an egg survive on its own? It needs a chicken to sit on it. I think at some point in our life, we humans often need a chicken to sit on us. I don't know why, I just think it would help our society.
