I don't know your interests or how easy or difficult you like your books. If you are looking for something easy and fun try Harry Potter. If you are looking for something a little more complicated but very interesting you could try "Angels & Deamons" or "The Da Vinci code" by Dan Brown, I love these two books even though I usually don't read books in this area.

To tell you that we should know what your interests are, spiritual, romance, fiction, mystery, thriller whatever. Try looking for bookseller sites like amazon.com and search for books that interest you, you can read some excerpts from the book too there and then can buy them or search in your library for them. I like authors like robert ludlum. fredrick forsyth, barbara taylor bradford, harivansh rai bachchan , agyae , Brian weiss(spiritual books) and so many others. Lord of the rings ios my favorite in fiction section. YOuhave to select books that grip you to cultivate the habit. Try reading romance or mystery first then as you start loving books move on to other stuff. My hubby loves reading about battles and generals o each to his own interests. Good luck

What type of books do you like? fiction, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, autobiography, history, classic... the list goes on. Well, some of my all time favourites are JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, D. Eddings' Belgariad, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and Witching Hour, Dan Brown's Davinci Code and Angels and Demons, Amy Tan's Joyluck Club and Kitchen God's Wife... if you like self-help and thinking books, try Tony Buzan's Mindmaps... v. useful tools.

Please go through " Autobiography of a Yogi" written by the great Indian yogi/guru Paramhansa Yogananda. It has everything in it, that is required by thepresent society. You can even read it free online at Anandaindia.org
