Ok lets set this scene. I was at school about 3years ago now and it seemed when one person came out as being gay the whole school decided that they were gay too!! Now i still know the first person who came out and she is still gay and seeing women so i defo know, but for the rest of them they decided to change back to being straight. So what was the point in coming out in the first place when you werent even gay. I know people round here dont bother whether you are gay straight bi transgender etc so was it just to be the 30second news flash at school??? I myself am lesbian but i dont go around flaunting it all the time and i hate it when people do flaunt it. Be happy with who you are and where you come from but no need to push your views, opinions and lifestyle on to anyone else. Last but not least ITS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST PEOPLE!! use gays have it hard sometimes so dont take the piss. Thanx

i think thats how it really is.. Rumors has always been the favorite past time.. talking about a person behind her back has probably been done by most people.. We can't control it.. I dunno, maybe we just have to live with it and continue with our lives whether or not people talk about us.. It's their lost not ours.. My mom usually tells me to forget about them because they were not the reason I existed and their made up stories are not feeding me up day to day..

It's hard to say what the thinking is in great Yarmouth, but do you remember the film Spartaucus? I am Spartacuis! I am Spartacus! No, I am Spartacus...etc.... Well it was no bad thing... so don't worry about it...every cloud has a silver wotsit!

Oh that is a bit ridiculous, that everybody decided to be gay. Yes be happy with who you are and just be yourself if people do not like you as yourself then don't bother about them, just enjoy your life.

now a days fashion had become a new trend with out fashin there is no world now.

Its almost like its a trend. Some people do it to get attention, make themselves look more interesting and unfortunatly some girls think it will make them seem more attractive to guys. I know it sounds sinicle but I know people who have done it.

Did half the people who responded to this thread actually read it? Can't say I'd ever found this to happen, especially if you grew up in Norfolk!!! (is where I live too!) Isn't exactly the most forward place in the world is it??!!! Can't understand the mentality of some people, does seem a bit weird pretending or claiming you are gay. Suppose I can understand people who deny being gay when they really are due to the social pressures but otherwise does just seem like a total piss take to act like it when ur not, but then kids will always do stupid things and there's not a lot anyone can do about it unfortunatly!

what a small world lol. I have had it extremely easy considering all of the stories i have heard. But yes this did happen at my school especially with them people who are on their own and don't seem to have any friends. Maybe this was one way of trying to get friends? maybe it was just for that little bit of attention. I do not know what was going through their heads it is all a bit strange really.
