has anyone had kidney or spinal problems while on med.?

i started taking the med. about 4 yrs ago when i got preg. with my second child. my other med. would cause birth defects. since then i have had problems with my discs in my lower back and neck, also severe kidney problems resulting in three surgeries in the past 4 months. has anyone experienced the above problems?
