how do i make him interested?

Ok Lets start by saying I'm a nearly 30 year old woman with 3 kids LOL not a giggling teeenager! Have not been in a relationship for 11 years. For no other reason than I haven't met anyone i thought was worth the risk. But the week before xmas I met a man that has completely taken over my every waking moment! And to make the story even cheesier he is in charge of the team that installed my central heating! He calls round once a day to check they ok then away he goes. So I gave him my number and said to give me a call. He hasn't! I've had plenty of opinions on this and don't know what to believe. But as I live on a council estate it is possible he is just wary of being at the wrong end of a nasty joke! So on monday my next door neighbour is having her heating installed and he'll be round once a day for the week...how do i play this one? He might not be as nice as i think but if I don't do anything I'll always be wondering... R xxxx p.s. He's 38.
