Blogs: Good or Evil?
are bloggers a bunch f misfits with too much amt of time in their hands???
The philadelphia Inquirer ran a series of columns about this over the weekend,including this one Jonathan Last,who expresses skepticism toward his own:
"Blogs can be a real force for good when they act as super fact-checkers"But some blog just as to make their journal muuch more public.

Bloggers are just ordinary people with an opinion. Some will be misfits - but then some journalists are misfits too.
I think journalists feel theratened by bloggers. For years they were able to command high salaries for writing their opinions, with no one checking if they are correct - and suddenly there are all these bloggers doing the same thing, and checking material much more thoroughly too. In the end, newspapers will probably just end up as collections of blogs - it's starting to happen already.
