The +'s and -'s!!!

I am REALLY wandering what is the deal with the +'s and -'s?? So far all i can come up with is that they affect your star rating but is there any other purpose at all?! Everyone seems to want the +'s but i am wandering how many people actually know why?!....

Well, I'm not sure what they do, but I always give a + to the topics and replies that I leave comments on. Only if a post is really bad, do I leave a -. I just hope it helps the person out. a

+ is for people ho we think deserve to get PLUS for his/her post. For example we like their topic, their response, etc. I always rate + to sall topic that I reply. ^^ And - is for people who answering but not connected with the topic. or just send spaming ^^

well if i give a plus rate then it means that the answer you posted has quality and is really meaning ful and you could get extra money.but it is contradictory if i post "-" rate.

Do you really get more money if you write decent comments/discussions that people rate as +?? If this is so, does that also mean that you earn less if people mark you as -?
