Sure. Sweetened with some ice cream is good. Also, if you cook them down and mash them up, you have applesauce. Fresh is so much better that store bought.

Sure I have eaten apples cooked! Apple pie, apple crisp, apple cobbler, apple bread, apple cookies... In fact someone just gave me several bushels of apples that I cooked down into delicious applesauce and apple butter to preserve in jars for the winter. The super easy way to do it is just peel & slice the apples, throw them in the crock pot with about a cup of water and some cinnamon/sugar mixed & let them cook all day. The bonus is nothing smells as good as apples cooking in the crock pot!
