I have a Hewlett Packard my last computer was also a Hewlett Packard. Do you prefer one type of computer or different types or does it matter. I'm not saying that I wouldn't buy any other type. I was thinking possibly of building my own later on.

as a mac person for 20 years, i can tell you they are pretty much the same. i can say that mac is easier in some ways. i went with this hp laptop because you can play alot of games. mac people are limited to what they can do. there is nothing on the internet for macs. plus you are way way secure on macs. i won't even do my banking on this in fear on someone stealing my password.

My family has mostly owned Hewlett Packards, as well! *laugh* We do also own an E-machine, but I don't really work on it that much and don't know much about it. It seems to function about the same, really. I thikn that I'll stick with HP if I ever buy a computer soley of my own. HP is just what I am used to. It's not that I wouldn't consider another brand either, but I am really comfortable with the Hewlett Packard brand. ^_^

Yes I also am fond of Hewlett Packard. They seem to make a good computer. I also have other family members who have both a Hewlett Packard and an E-machine.

I have used a gateway that was my first can't say it was bad It worked and did what I needed it to do. but as I got more into working with photos and videos it just wasn't what I needed. Of cource having it for five yars may have had a lot to do with it as well :). I just got a dell and I used the option to coutomize it the way I want it. So far it seems to be doing ok. I haven't really had much time to check out all its features yet.

I like building my own computers. I put what I want in them and the software I want on them. With preparatory computers alot of times if something goes wrong with them you have to send back to the manufacturer to be fixed. Where as if my computer goes bad I can fix it most times myself.

I have a Hewlett Packard also. I've had this one for 8 years and been pretty lucky with it so I guess I'll stay loyal. I had a computer before this which was fine but I can't remember what it was. This is the first computer I've had that had windows so the old one didn't do much.

I love my HP computer. I have had a compaq the previous 2 but HP bought out Compaq so I purchased this one. I went to the site and built my own the way I wanted it but could not seem to hit the "BUY" button. Then my computer hit the dust! I had to drive 2 hours to Staples to buy one. I cant be without my computer ya know. LOL
