I got her not too long ago and the people didnt work with her that well.. I heard they just had her in the garage and she just stayed there.. no attention or anything..
Now I have her and she is soooo great! she is the most beautiful dog I have had. she is a boxer with alot of white on her and then some large brown spots that brendle..
but one of my biggest problems is her going to the bathroom in the house. I guess she is just used to being able to go whenever and where ever she pleases because thats what they let her do..
at 7 months old how do I stop this??? I try to let her go outside alot but when I bring her in she go's.
then at night, by the time I get up, I have a huge mess to clean up because she has went everywhere..
I keep her in one part of the house at night but still, I would love some tips to be able to stop the going in the house all together..
we had a dog a long time ago that would stay home most of the day and would wait til we got home to let him out to go.. I have no clue why he was so good about it but I'd love for this one to do the same... any tips? I am open to hear them ALL.. :)
Thanks alot

The only thing that I can suggest, which you are, it sounds like, already doing is.... Take the dog outside often and wait till after the dog goes to the bathroom. After she goes outside you give her a treat and reasurance through the "good dog" and a pet status and continue to scold her for going in the house. It has worked on the three year old unhouse-broken dog we have, Ami. She rarely goes in the house any more unless one of the kids neglect to take her out when they are told to. It does take a little time but have patience it will work.
Thank you for the good discussion and have a great day!!
