Would it be interesting to have a US, a Europian and an Asian version of MyLot ? Sometimes I wonder, because a lot of things and thoughts of the different continents really don't match together ... Or is this just one of the benefits of MyLot ? Opinions please, not just shouting ...

I think there should be different areas in mylot where people from certain cultures can go, a separate group, if you will. I dont' see a problem in everyone being a part of mylot as a whole, but sometimes people might want to exclude themselves from the general population, and that should be ok, too. But I don't think it should be mandatory, it should be a choice.

I think Mylot wants the whole world to communicate with each other. Maybe they can add a sub-forum where natives of a certain country can post in their own language. I think that would be better.

No , I think it's great that people from different countries and regions can share ideas. One thing Mylot might want to do is start variations in different languages, since not everyone speaks English.

It's great that mylot offer members the chance to know about other cultures and areas of the world and discuss with people from different backgrounds and I find no problem in passing discussions that's too regional and doesn't interest me, there are plenty of other discussions that I can relate to and I can do a search or find it in "discussions from my interests". The only good reason for mylot to launch separate sites it would be if they would introduce different languages, like French, Spanish, Hindi sites, etc.

I think it would be a let down for some people if my lot was split into regions as some regions have more members than others which would mean more chances to make money for the 'popular' regions and less for the 'unpopular' regions. Also diversity is interesting and we can learn things from each other. I think maybe there could be subsections of mylot that divide into different regions but believe everyone should be able to post together if thats what they want to do.
