How to make a good bolognese sauce

Do you love the bolognese you make? I don't know how to make it, whats your recipe?

"Dolmio" in a Jar..lol I tell ya, Im hopeless when it comes to cooking.. so I get whats available at the supermarket.. If you have any good recipes then lemme know.. :)

haha I get that too! But my boy and I have decided to start making our own, although he's reluctant to put meat in it :( It just seems the jar stuff never tastes as good as some gold ol fashioned home cooking or a good italian restaurant.

Bolognese Sauce salt pepper 2 shallots, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef 1 (28 ounce) jar canned tomatoes 1 (5 1/2 ounce) can tomato paste 2 teaspoons oregano 2 teaspoons basil 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (optional) 4 large mushrooms, sliced (optional In a large pot, heat the olive oil with low heat. add shallots and garlic and saute until transparent. add ground beef, and stir until browned and well seperated. season with salt and pepper to taste. add tomatoes, oregeno, basil, mushrooms, parsley, and tomato paste. bring to a boil then reduce heat and allow to simmer until sauce thickens. hope you liked it dear

I always use the bolognese mix. It's an easy solution I know, but the taste is still great, so why go through more trouble than you have to right? :-)
