Zonealarm- Firewall

I use zonealarm firewall, is it good enough to protect my system form those hacking attempts and saving from virus attacks or should i have norton or Mcafee, which are considered to best

Zonalarm in reality i try it and it gaves me not a good impression as security software..such as it works but in some cases it seemed to me too much simple or not really complete!!So there are many products you cna check from avg and also nod or kaspesky normaly they have good products as regards security!!
