reading in bed - spendging time in bed with a good book is just what I do to relax at the end of a busy day.
Usually I read in bed. I am so busy that to wind down with a good book is just the thing I can do and it doesn't cost me much. Belong to a paperback trading site and it works out really well. Also it is usually a bit quieter there even if I have my radio playing!!

I usually read my books under a tree. The cool wind makes adds chill to my body as i read the pages, the branch and leaves of our mango tree gives me the shadow that i need. Not only that i enjoy reading under that mango tree it very relaxing and comfortable too. That's why i usually stay there whenever i have a good book, magazine or just want to relax.

I don't really read books, I like magazines. the only time I read a book is when I'm trying to find out about something, I go to my computer mostly when I want to know something.

I actally can be found reading anywhere. :) I read in my bedroom late at night before I go to bed. I read in my car while waiting for my kids to get out of school. I read in the doctor's ofice in the waiting are and the exam room waiting to either be finally called or for the doctor to come in. I read in the car even when my patner and I are running errands....somtimes he is in deep thought and there is no talking to him...so I read. I can be found reading in my den when waiting for my family to be ready to leave for somewhere. I will even sit outside and read while the kids and the dogs romp around the backyard playing when the weather is nice. When I lived in an apartment that had a pool, you could find me beside the pool with my nose in a book. Good sunscreen for not burning the nose, ha ha. When I was working, one could find me outside at a bench reading for my lunch break or 15 minute break. :) So, I could be seen anyywhere reading. :)

My favorite place is in my yard. I have a swing (on an A-frame) that sits under a huge tree. In the summer I like to take a tall glass of iced-tea out there and swing, read, and sip tea! In the fall I prefer taking out hot chocolate or a warm cappuccino. I have even been known to sit out there in the winter (if not too cold of a day) in a sweat-suit and gloves sipping warm cappuccino. The reason I love to read under this tree is that I am away from all distractions in the home. No phone, no teenage music, no voices. I enjoy the fresh air and feeling of being outside! If it is too cold for outside, I have a fuzzy butterfly chair in my bedroom that I enjoy reading in. Now mind you, I will read anywhere...I absolutely love to read!

Lots of places, but most often curled up in a corner on my couch in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping. I also tote my book along with me when I go for a hot bath, which is usually my method of relaxation. I take it when I'm going out for coffee, riding the bus or when I take the kids to the park ... so they can play while I sit in the shade and read. I'm a bit of a bookworm.

I usually read most of the day at work, reports, planning guides, operational binders etc, so I am not into reading alot of novels these days. Usually the extent of my literature at home is books with the kids, some of those are really riveting though try Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom.... wow it is intense.

Just about anywhere. I sometimes have a look at a book at a bookstore, start reading a few pages and get so involved that I forget where I am. I take a book whenever I´ve got an appointment at the doctors. It helps me kill time while waiting for my turn. And always since adolescence: in bed.

Depending on how good the novel is (example a James Patterson that I can't put down) I'll read just about anywhere. I usually read in bed though just before I go to sleep. Sometimes it puts me to sleep other times its 2 in the morning and I still can't put it down till I'm finifshed. I'm my own worst enemy.

If it's a really good book, you'll find me reading it in the tub, lol. I read there because it's peaceful and quiet. For the most part, my children don't come barging into the bathroom asking if they can have this or that. So that's where I get all my quality reading done, sometimes I'll be in the tub for two hours, of course this is usually after the kids have gone to bed.

I only read books in my own home . I either get books from friends or go pick up some from the library but don't take them anywhere to read except in my house or outside when it is nice in the summer , so that I have something to do while I am watching the little one's while they are playing outside .

Mmmm just thinking about it, me think its bath time for me shortly LOL......Oh and by the way whenever im reading in the bath I take a couple of boiled lollies in with me to eat, its a habit ive picked up as a kid lol ;)

I read all of the time, usually non-fiction books about history. I often read several books at a time, one while I am eating, one while in bed going to sleep, one at work during lunch breaks.

I usually read on the sofa because it`s comfy there and because my end table is next to it and it has a lamp on it. also I can put my soda or whatever I`m drinking close by.

My favorite place to read is in the screenhouse in the summertime. I will bring a book out with me and sit in my favorite chair and read. It is so peaceful in the summertime. The birds are chirping and the sun is shining (most of the time). Even on a rainy day you can find me in the screenhouse with a book.

I have a recliner in the corner of my computer room with a good reading lamp next to it. All of my books are in this room, and I love to curl up there with my blanket and my cat and read. It's pretty much the only place that I do any amount of reading because the light is perfect there.

My other half does all the book reading, He likes to read in bed to wind down before he sleeps. He really loves his books. He likes books on aeroplanes and people who flew them because his dad was a pilot in the war. I don't really read many novel books, I like to read magazines best. The only time I read a book is when I'm trying to find out about something like gardening, nature or the history of where we live in Norfolk, I have quite a collection of those books, oh and cookery books. I have rather a lot of those as well.

I listen to books more than read them. Quite normal, I'm running an aduio books download site (AudioBooksCorner-dot-com). 'Reading' i.e. listening takes place mostly when driving, or working out. I prefer a good novel or a self help book to music when I do these things.
