I'm trying to eat less salt in my diet, but I find it difficult. I love salt on my food. What are some other ways to add flavor to my food without pouring on the salt?

You could try 'Mrs Dash' herb mixtures, and other herbs and spices. I tried some of the other salt substitutes and didn't care for them. Sometimes I'll use b-b-q sauce on chicken instead of a lot of salt. I not sure how much salt in in the sauce, though. You would have to check the label.

I forgot to say that you can still use pepper, too. You can also taste the food before you eat it and sometimes it tases ok without a lot of salt. I don't use salt on vegetables.

I've tried NO Salt which works fine in food for me. It has a bad flavor on it's own though.
