Is clean air important to you?

I found a list of the top 25 cities in the US with the cleanest air...the best air quality index. My city was number 21, which I thought was not too bad! I was surprised to see several California cities on the list also. I thought they had a lot of smog problems. I guess that is in the biggest cities.

yes, clean air is very important to all of us! But I don't know how many citis in the world still have clean air for people to breath.
The modern industry benefit us much with many kinds of products which make our life more convenient, but the pollution is also a byproduct of modern indusries. Also we payed little attetion to the pollution problems before when we were enjoying our modern lives. The air and water pollution in many contries is very serious now.
I am from China, and many large cities are also facing the same problem. Government has realized the necessity to deal with pollution, and has invested much money to reduce pollutoin. I think it is better than 10 years ago.
Fortunately, I am living in a beautiful city---Nanjing. I don't know if you have heard of it. And my universiy lies in the scenery zone, at the foot of a mountain. I feel the air quality is good, especially when wandering in the forest. I love this city,mainly because of it clean air and beautiful secnery.
Wish all the people in the world can breath the clean air when they get up in the morning!

It sounds beautiful there! Living near a forest would be great. My city happens to be in the plains...an part of the country with not many trees. When you travel you just see lots of open land. I think our city has been so lucky with clean air, is because it is not that large, only 180,000 people, and we are famous for our wind, so we never have any smog.

Clean air is important to me. I have two small children that love to play outside. I live in a small town where there is little chance of smog and such in the air. I will have to check out your link though and see if for some unknown reason my city is on there!

Clean air is very important to me. But we should admit due to industrialisation and increase in Vehicles pollute our Air.

Air quality is a big deal for folk with breathing difficulties and studies such as this give them an opportunity for improving their lives. We all should be concerned since if we don't breath well we have a difficult time being alive. Health care what it is we should take steps to protect our bodies!!
