Love grows or fades with age?

Most people want it that way. We already seen many older couples still with each other. I believe if we love someone with all our hearts, not just because of physical appearances only, the love would last longer. Nowadays there many reasons for people to love someone, sometimes they love for their wealth, sometimes for their looks, sometimes for their rank in society, sometimes for their power. It is hard to find material love which last very long. And I think in order for love to last longer, the couples should carry forward whatever they have done together when still young, even though they get older. That's because some older couple, well from what I saw at my surroundings, even have hard time to say "I love you" with each other, not like when they are still young.
