It is a bad influence for young adults who are followers. But, as they say America has freedom of speech etc.

That is very true. They should be held somewhat responsible in how they affect the kids of America. Even though they say don't try these stunts at home doesn't mean a whole lot.

Now, teens know very well that what they do can possibly hurt them. If they're stupid enough to try dangerous stunts, then they deserve what's coming to them. Let's stop blaming everything on the media for the stupid things that people do.

So you really think that a TEEN can't tell the difference between reality and what they see on TV?? A TEEN can't sit there and watch someone do something obviously dangerous and NOT know that they could get seriously injured if they tried the act themselves?? 12 and 13 years old is old enough to know the difference. They're not 7 years old!

i think generally they can.. but it depends on the child themselves.. for they still are only kids! but its not usually the ones that can tell the difference between the 2 that are attempting stupid stunts or there are some other issues that the parents need to address!

i truly think it might be a little harsh to say that if a teen is "stupid enough to try a dangerrous stunt then they deserve whats coming to them" .. the thing is that if they ARE stupid enough to try a specific "stunt" then they definitely dont DESERVE to be hurt or worse.. they DESERVE tobe more educated .. and dont forget that "teen" is describes as someone aged 13-19... now as far as a 13 or 14 year old deserving pain for doing something stupid??.. i mean is there really a big difference in thought process between a 12 year old and a 13 year old? parents need to be more proactive to stop things like this... i dont feel the media is responsible either ..and im not saying that its ALWAYS a parents fault if their child makes a "stupid decision" but parents ARE human, and do make mistakes.. but it is important that children are taught that what they see on tv isnt reality.. and if they are too young to understand that type of talk, you should strictly enforce rules when it comes to WHAT they are watching.

The people in this movie are not just doing crazy things, they are doing things that are absolutely ignorant. Why would anyone with a brain do some of those things? Even if you were being paid a fortune it would be stupid. I think this show actually leaches intelligence from the minds of children.

no jackass isn't a bad influence. honestly, if people are stupid enough to immitate the stunts that are preformed in that movie, then they deserve to get hurt. it will be a learning experience for them.

honestly... i think the movies were hilarious.. and i feel that it shouldnt be pulled off tv because of a few misdirected youths.. really if you think that your teens are too impressionable to watch this kind of thing then you should not let them watch it,.. im not trying to be rude at all.. i think that there are ALOT of things that are innappropriate for some kids and teens to watch.. and i strongly feel that even the typical "nightly local news" is sometimes one of them! i think that however it completely depends on each child or teen as an individual as i know of some "kids" that are mature enough to watch certain levels of programming but some that are even older are definitely not,, i believe this goes for video games as well..only you as a parent know the level of your own childs understanding. i think that its important for all of us as parents to maintain strict boundaries when it comes to our sometimes EXTREMELY impressionable kids.

Only thing, if we ban Jackass the Movie than we need to ban wrestling and anything else a teen can take as a bad influnce. I think that kids need ot use common sense - I know not all of them have that. If you raise your kids right then they won't fall for such insanity.

The show is bad when the tv series came on MTV my brother and I used to watch it. My mom would get so upset with us because we would be laughing so hard we couldn't breathe. True they should pull it, those men do disgusting things I wouldn't want to date them. I find it funny even though it is sick. I haven't watched it in forever though debating on see Jackass 2.

I think it is a bad influence - it gives kids ideas they would never have had on their own! Also it gives kids the idea that you can make money doing something like that!

People are doing stupid things every day, we dont stop them doing them or take shows/music of the air for them, so why should jackass be pulled?I'm a big fan of jackarse, and find what they do a good laugh, kids and kids we can lock them up or wrap them in bubble wrap...
