Petition to Mylot to increse the Pay

India
January 14, 2007 3:20am CST
Hello friends. I think I speak for almost everyone here, when I say that we like what we do here and love Mylot. The only thing we want is a little more money for our posts. I do not mean to ask for a complete overhaul, but an increase in earnings per post by atleast a couple of cents. People who agree with me, leave your comments and suggestions here. Maybe we can make the administrators to pay attention to this Petition .. Waiting for a mass response .....

I think its unfair. the $0.02 per post is good. other people post non-sense and get away with money. I think its best to have a rate based of words and sense.

I definitely agree with that. I'm tired of reading a bunch of nonsense and realize that they're getting paid the same as I, when I don't talk gibberish and what not.

to do that, somebody would have to read every single post. These people would need to be paid therefore causings overheads, the money would get spent on them working instead of us posting and we're back to square one anyway...

Hi, i think mylot is already starting to increase our earnings here, just yesterday i have earned twice my usual daily earnings, this haapened twice already this week. I think the best way to earn more is to contribute more quality discussions and rating. I hope mylot will here your proposition, cause it would be a great help for all of us.

Yes, I feel also that they already have started increasing the pay and it is based on the quality of discussions created as well as the quality responses given to other topics. My earnings have increased quite a bit since they put this new star system into place so I am happy with how things are here. I was happy with myLot even before they put the star system in place.

Yes mate you just spoke my language.I totally agree that we should get a little bit more than what we get now.Off-course MYLOT can't cut-off their own profit in order to increase our earning. But they can find some alternative way to make this.

I think we are lucky to be paid at all. After all this is a fun site. Where else can you earn on the net by having fun and talking about subjects that interest you? I think MyLot is having enough trouble right now trying to get the scammers off the site. Increasing the pay would only encourage more of that.

Well dude, I really liked it. I was also thinking about the same thing when I struck to ur discussion. Yes offcourse mylot administration should increase the pay out. This way they can bring a huge traffic to the site. I talked to some of my friends about mylot but they were discouraged when they heard the pay out of the mylot.

There are not many companies on the internet paying for posting. I don't think we should start asking for more money. This is just something most people do for fun, a little extra change is just a fringe benefit. I am not in favor of an increase.

Where would this extra money come from? Theres over 57,000 members here now so just a couple of cents more per posting is a lot of extra money to pay out, how many postings do you make a day?

I think mylot folks are already aware of it and they have developed a more mature algo where you need to post properly to earn money. It is not something that you simply add some posting or comment and walk away with money. You ened to work for your posting an money. I think it is fair as today.

I think alot of people are just in it for the money. HELLO PEOPLE THIS IS NOT A PART TIME JOB!!!! get real you should be glad there are even programs that offer you money for giving your opinion. If your not happy go else where... People have said why don't admins add something that can check the qaulity of our post so we aren't wasting our time... There are 2 things wrong with this 1. To make a script that could measure the quality of ones post would just be unpractical and not fulproof. This is how it would work the program if implicated would check for lets say 5 or 6 letter words that a person typed in a post and that is what the quality would be based on... but lets say one of those "scam" people just start typing random 5-6 letter words...the script would recognize this as quality it would be able to decipher if words were used more then once but it wouldn't be able to decipher if the post is actually making sense..and then asking admin to check the post for quality what are you people NUTS??? do you think this is there full time job? there is so many post, responds, and post to responds that the job would be impossible unless they staffed about at leat 30 people per day...do you think they have the money for this?? 2.these generous peoplere paying you for your input. They don't have to do this they could be like yahoo answer they don't pay you nor is their turn out bad they have tons of traffic and are not attracted by money hunger beggers. I've got a suggest for all you who think this site is unfair...WHY DON"T YOU ALL GO GET REAL JOBS....and stop considering this "extra money" you can take back bottles at least in the states that do this and make more money then on here.If you think its a waste of you "valuable" time like i said early go else where I just think you people complain to much. now this is a quality post....:)

yes i am supporting this post. Not only increasing the amount of earnings but lessen the restriction to photos. and please can you add a plug-in for English grammar checking or yet include a basic English test for users to eliminate those who post that i really cant understand? I am a supporter of this post. i know mylot is aware of this. Soon if they will not do something about this competitors will take advantage of complaining users.

I definitely agree with lessening the photo restrictions. There's a lot of photos I would love to post, but am not able to because of restrictions. And to add on to your grammar idea, a spell check would be so great!

I agree. I found myLot quite by chance, and was surprised to hear of any site that actually paid people to chat and make friends and broaden their knowledge. I would chat to people about things that interest me for no payment as I already do on some other Internet sites - so i think myLot is fine as it is.

yea it would be nice however if mylot would standardized the rate per post. it would be a lot more difficult to handle some spammers. it may be possible reall and i would really love that. i'd benefit to that. so here we go mylot please increase the rates hehe!

I feel like I'm the only one who's actually happy with the amount of money made. We don't know what they pay. People say it's a few cents a post, but if that were true, I'd have a lot less than an overall total of 87$ for just a little over a month. I average a good three dollars a day, and make maybe 20 - 40 posts a day. I'm perfectly content with what Mylot pays me.

Yap! agree with you, But haven you noticed they are paying more than earlier, I notice my pay got higher increase, I'm not sure if it's because of my activity or its an increase in posting fees. What do you think?
