I only have one recipe for you because I don't cook in mine much either. I mainly use it for spaghetti sauce and meatballs. This is a good recipe if you like German Potato salad. I hope you like it. Crock Pot German Potato Salad INGREDIENTS: 6 cups sliced raw potatoes 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup water 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sugar substitute 2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled, or about 4 tablespoons real bacon bits PREPARATION: In a slow cooker, combine potatoes, onion, and celery. In a medium bowl, combine water, vinegar, sugar, tapioca, black pepper and parsley flakes. Pour mixture over potato mixture. mix well to combine. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Stir in crumbled bacon. Serve hot.

Thank you, that sounds really yummy but I would be the only one eating it in my house, my family have no sense of adventure when it comes to food, they don't know what they are missing most times....thanks again

This is really easy and is my family's favorite... I boil some chicken, preferably skinless, boneless thighs. Then I shred it and put it in the crock pot and add some BBQ sauce. My favorite to use is Sweet Baby Ray's HOney BBQ. Since you boil the chicken first you don't really have to cook it in the crock for a long time...just heat it up and get the flavor soaked in. I guess you could cook the chicken in water in the crock for several hours and then drain it then shred and put back in. It is great on potato rolls or homemade rolls or even by itself. I alway make this for family gatherings and it's a big hit.
