I would have said that football was the highest paid sport, but seeing Beckham's package does make me wonder... Actually, I never knew that soccer was so popular in the U.S. I'm an avid hockey fan, and don't have much interest in other sports. It's going to be interesting to see how soccer develops in this country. One thing for sure, Beckham is going to be surprised at how much of his millions will be going to federal and state taxes!! I wonder if his agents took that into consideration when negotiating!
