why is it named orkut ?

it is named after its founder, as was already mentioned. but i think you peopel should also knowthat a court case ispending with him... apparently, he developed orkut with a small firm, left it, came to gogole and started orkut with h is name, and this gave him fame and popularity, and he did thi s by breaching the agreement with the otehr company! i am not sure about the truth though
