is online communities better than real conversation? with free flow of exchange of information, how can online communities be good or bad to us? The pros and cons of online communities?

praveenkumar has a point. when getting online informations especially about online investments, we can rely more on people in online communities. a lot have lots of experiences here.

it's not 100% better than the real thing. but what's nice is that we can share our feelings here, be who we are and can freely share what's on our minds without being scared because we don't personally know our friends. and friends on online communities like mylot, can be reliable at times, too. they are also capable of giving nice advices through their experiences. we get to go around the world. not physically. but know people around the globe.
friends in real life are also vital for our existence. they are really there for us when we need a shoulder to cry on. a pat when we need a little boost to keep on going.
these two are different but we can get a lot from both things.
