there is no smooke without fire...so it must be something real in it. but not all. he just gave a special interpretation to his studies. i never studied da vinci...only a specialist in simbolistic can give you a good point about this. my opinion as nonspecialist is that it must be a little piece of truth in it

There is a truth to what you say, though I'd take objection to your statement putting the name Dan Brown and the words 'his studies' together. The book is a fictional drama, not a research into Christianity! Enjoy the intrigue, but disregard the b*llocks he spouts about history, he is mixing information, misinformation, useless parrallels and dogma. Better to do your own research (I have been for 28 years), and read the Gnostic Gospels as a starting point.

Great reading material, well written and fun to read but pure speculation and twisted truths.

I dont believe da vinci code ,but it really got me thinking that such a theory cud be possible , its not something that can be discarded just like tht . I did get obssesed and tried to do a bit of research but gave up in the end . I realised it doesnt matter wht the book or what the actual fact is ..... in the end ,its all your faith that matters.

Nope i don't believe in what the book is saying. I agree that it's a good book and the author did a lot of researching to publish such an excellent creation. Dan Brown used groups, things and artifacts that are real and existing. Personally, that is one of the reasons why the book seems realistic.

Well let me put it this way it is not all that difficult to explain realistically things that are just the opposit, So if u r really interrested u must do a lot of backgrouhd work and i can tell u that after all that work i find facts that point otherwise

after all thats a book.morover its a fiction .why dont u go with that if at all there is any doubt about content of the book, only author can solve that and no other, even his editor and mentor. My point is that Dan ?Brown had made it clear that he made moct part of the story except architecture,location....

All that I can say is that Dan Brown is a good writer, He did a good job by linking urban legends together, Yet, I can't say that those urban legends are not true. There might be some reasons why those urban legends became legends. Still, it always depends on the reader if he or she will believe on what Dan Brown had wrote.

not sure if i believed it, dan brown is a very good writer at presenting believeable stuff, and he seems to back it up with 'fact'. excellent book though

i dont care whether is a fact or fiction! your faith really depends on you! if you choose to believe, then its fine! altho it question the divinity, what matter is your faith! lets say that what is told in the book is tru. so what? at least he really DO exist! its a matter of believing, you know.

No, I don't believe the Da Vinci Code. It was a great book and an entertaining movie, but it is fictional. It is not based on fact.

I think that it is possible that it could someday be real because of the facts that they pointed out. But being able to say now if it is real I couldn't say. You never know what could happen in this day and age.

I agree it is an awesome book and movie. I think that there is of course some truth in it but hardly any. Mostly i would say that its about how the Church ruled over the whole land in those times and how religion was one of the most important social roles in that time period. If you enjoyed this then you will LOVE 'Angels and Demons' which is the pre-quel to 'Da Vinci Code'.

it's a great movie, and i even read the book before the movie came out. but it's all fiction, it does not affect my faith. it's all fiction.
