hmm.. Well, Why..?????? Yez.., itz absolutely true that people pretend to be what they arent actually.. only bcoz of the fear of being judged..!!! So..they jst act according to the situation and wanna be like someone else..!! I think thats the main reason why ppl arent behaving as they are..!!!

that is what is known as hypocrisy.. probably to please ppl.. to establish their image in the society as a prestigious person.. who's respected by everyone.. whatever they do.. they really dont have any 'valid' reasons for pretending.. as for ppl pretending to do good.. they obviously have an evil intention for doing so.. or maybe to hide their true identity which may not be very well recognized.. or understood in the society!
