Are you a geek, nerd, dork, freak?

I'm a dork. But I don't think everyone classifies geeks, nerds, dorks, and freaks the same. We all probably have different definitions of the terms. I consider myself a dork because I'm different (doesn't listen to the popular music, doesn't dress in the popular fashion, etc.), not very social, not as smart as a geek or nerd, and I'm not as extreme like a freak. These 4 terms are not negative in any way. I like people like that. They celebrate uniqueness and protect the world from falling into one stereotype.

As long as I know, I'm a (proud) nerd, a geek and a freak. But when you say that about protecting the world from stereotype, I disagree. You see, this words were created based in stereotypes, negative ones, though those who are into them can say the contrary. I think we can be uniques, just because this individuality of ours protect us from falling to the homogeneity. But a stereotype can be much vaster than that. Oh well, let's fight these stereotypes anyway, as it can be known that the portrayal of people who fit in, at least, one of these four is wrong and obsolete already.

Based on your definitions I'm somewhere between a dork and a nerd. I'm pretty smart compared to the poeple I hang with but all the dork definitions fits me as well. :-)
