Should restaurants be required to post nutritional information on menus?

I would say yes, but I'm sure that the restaurant industry would have plenty of arguments about it being too time-consuming or costly or just plain "impossible". I suppose it would be difficult, but if it were an accepted standard then they would find a way to do it. I think that consumers have the right to know what the ingredients are and what the nutritional values are. Some of the major chains now have this information available on request, and the information is really enlightening. Some of the things that you would think are better choices are actually loaded with calories, fat, or sugars- and of course none of the fast food has any amount of fiber.
