I used to be able to make really lovely Yorkshire puddings (the things that go with a Sunday roast), but for some reason they always come out wrong now. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get them back to being nice again, the ones I'm making at the moment are a bit odd, there's no bottom to them, just lots of top. Thank you for your help.

Well mine seem to go wonky too, but I think that's either because lard is better than oil for cooking them in or my oven doesn't go high enough, Mum does them on Gas Mark 9, then turns them down to 7, so if your oven doesn't go that high perhaps that's why. I don't know why else they wouldn't work.

AH! That's it! Thank you RieRie. :) I forgot I usually cook them on high, but I've been doing them on medium. Thank you, I look forward to making nice Yorkshires on Sunday. :D
