Linkin Park breaking up!!!!

man....i dun know if they r workn on a new album together...dat would be gud news......but the new song....Mike Shinoda solo....its going down is preety good.......

they r back and almost hav finished their new album ......i tink it will hit the charts on March or April..

I heard about this when Mike Shinoda created 'Fort Minor', there were people saying Linkin Park where over because Mike was forming another band and things like that but I also heard some people saying that it wasn't true and they were preparing a new album for 2007. Some time after this there was released a new song called 'Q.W.E.R.T.Y.' which I heard would be part of their next work. So I think they didn't split up... Mike just has a side-project (and Chester has one too, which I didn't know, thanks for the info.)

Here you go. Linkin Park has not split up. After uniting with Jay-Z, Mike finally decided to get back to his roots and creat Fort Minor. While he was doing that, Chester decided to do a solo album himself. He is working with a couple guys from Korn and a couple indie bands. Mike has since finished the record for Fort Minor, has finished a tour, and has been helping produce the new Styles of Beyond album along side of Jay-Z. Linkin Park recently got back into the studio, as they have been writing material for quite some time. Now, teamed up with legendary rock producer Rick Rubin, they are creating an LP album in the likes you have never heard before. Look for it to come out sometime in Early 2007.

Someone going off and doing a solo gig usually has a way of breaking up bands pretty quickly. I hope this isn't the case as Linkin Park really doesn't have anyone to fill their shoes!

it hadn't broke up. Its just that mike shinoda wanted to make his solo album. But they are together again. If u have listened to the song "get me gone" by mike shinoda you will find out that they are still together

the band has left too early. when they came new they were on top, if they had continued they would be big

this is a purturbing news. linkin park is one of my favourite bands. i dont know the business strategy involved but i guess since the ratings of the new albums have been falling, they came up with the idea to spread the hoax, and i think it a just a heresay.
