hi there, I have to be on a special diet due to a health crisis. I am managing quite well but I really miss my boiled mints which I used to suck when I was working. No great usage, only about six mints a day but ooooooooooh do I miss them. Anyone know anything low calory, no salt and not aggravating to cholesterol which will last a long time to replace my boiled sweets? This is a serious food discussion please my dears :-)

I used to freeze green seedless grapes sometimes when I was dieting, it won't taste miny but it's worth a try.

Have you tried it yet, they are nice in drinks too, keep the kids quiet anyway. I peel mine sometimes but it is messy. Hope you and your special diet get on well together! Thank-you for giving me your best response,

We haven't been food shopping yet, Rainbow, but I am going to get some seedless grapes. The only problem is, will I be strong enough to actually put them into the freezer and not straight into my mouth lol. as to best reponse, it was the one I thought I would enjoy the most, thank you.

That is the tastiest suggestion yet! Thank you i shall certainly try that. I just like to suck a mint when I am busy but I don't see the point in suffering cutting sugar out of my cups of tea then sucking away at pure sugar. I managed to drink sugar free tea now, so it IS getting better lol. Thank you again, and I am definitely going to give that a try! :-)

Have you considered mint leaves? I grow peppermint and will chew on the leaves when I crave sweets. They also taste great in teas.

Thank you for that, I shall certainly give that a try as it may help digestion as well as my chewing craving. Should also stop me eating anything else between meals. Thank you again!

What I would do if I where you is go to the Chemist explain what you want there and they should be able to tell you what you can have and if there is anything like that

Thank you for that, I shall certainly try. I was hoping for some natural alternative but my choices look very limited. I still miss my sweeties!
